Drugs from Canada

If I tell you about a website where you can price medications, send prescriptions, and get your meds in the mail, have I committed a crime?  Will the police come looking for me?

The website is www.canadameds.com Go there.  Compare their prices with what you’re paying in the US.  You’ll be amazed.  Fill out a questionnaire online (or they’ll send you one), mail your prescription (or have your doctor fax it), and your medicine will arrive in the mail.

Pfizer’s cholesterol fighter Lipitor, the world’s top-selling drug, had sales of $2.7 billion in the first quarter of 2009.  If you live in the United States, a 90 day supply will cost you $354.63.  A generic form is available in Canada for $138.00.  If you prefer the non-generic, Canadameds will sell it to you for $198.96.

Canadian FlagIf you ask the friendly people at Canadameds why they sell a generic of Lipitor, when none is available in the US, here’s what they’ll tell you:   “It’s because of your patent laws. We don’t protect the pharmaceutical companies like you do.  Not when peoples’ lives are at stake.”

Call them.  Their number is 888-626-0696.  It’s one small way we can stand up for what’s right and fair.

Congress long ago abdicated their role as representatives of the people.  They’ve been bought and paid for by pharmaceutical and insurance companies, bankers and wall street financiers.  Our government has tilted so far to the right, has protected those who prey on her citizens, has passed legislation that benefits industry and hurts the common man, we can no longer breathe free.

We’ve fed the rich in this country for a very long time.  By our labors we have laden their tables with succulent meats and rich gravies and sweet pies and custards.  Now the people who produce, prepare, and serve the meals are dying of starvation.  The rich and powerful in this country have gorged themselves, but I think their days of rampant, indecent, conspicuous, over-the-top consumption are finally coming to an end.
