Zack the motorcycle-riding, tattooed, painter/minister is back today, doing more skim-coating on my kitchen walls. Yesterday I discovered he’s also a jack-hammer and a cement man. That bit of information came to light when he questioned the plumber about how the pipes had been laid beneath the concrete slab in my basement.
If we need a jack-hammer man, clearly Zack is available. And he can patch the floor after the broken pipes are replaced.
I’ve learned that when you have more than one workman at your house, they like to talk to one another. They seem to be measuring each other: how much do you really know about painting, about plumbing, about tiling walls and floors, etc. Do you know more than me, or less?
